Today started EARLY!! Even though it was a day off :() Isabella woke at 4:30 am crying and afterwards I couldn't get back to sleep. And of course by the time I was finally starting to doze off again she was up and ready for the day!! Usually I ignore her for awhile, but I decided to get up with her with hopes of getting a later morning nap in. It worked!!

Josh came home from camp today and now I don't think we have to be apart for a long while. It seems as if the past few months we have been apart ALOT!

One of my good friends who I have not seen in a super long time is spending the weekend in Omaha which is only 1.5 hrs away. We want to get together but she is only staying until Sunday afternoon and we are going there Sunday evening and Monday to take kids to camp and three days in a row is just not gonna happen. It kills me that she is that close and we won't see her probably. She has not even met Isabella yet :(

I think I am about ready to sleep now. Night!

Happy 4th of July!

I don't know if anyone still checks this since I'm less than reliable, but even if there is one soul out there I thought I'd take a moment to update. Facebook is where I'm at now...check me out.

So things are going well. It's the fourth of July week so there are fireworks going off all around my house. Yes, that's right-in Nebraska you can shoot fireworks in your own backyard. It is loud, and scary and smokey and kinda cool. This year will be Isabella's 3rd Independence day, but this year I want to let her see the fireworks. I think she will enjoy them!! Usually she sleeps through them!

We've been busy taking kids to camp. It's exciting because there have been alot more  kids to take! I can't believe there are only a few more camps left.

Isabella is doing great. Growing and doing something new every day. She  says many words now, and talks a lot! except around strangers! She has great blonde curls and the cutest smile. It's hard to believe she will be 2 soon. I'll of course add some pictures!!

Don't know if I'll be on here again any time soon, but I may try a little harder! Especially if there are still readers out there! Happy 4th everybody!!!

I'm sorry! I have been neglecting updating this for quite some time. I have some excuses but won't bore you with them! Instead I'll show you cute pictures of my baby which I am very good at :)

My little drummer girl........................she loves the drums! but we told her she has to learn piano first.....that way we have a guitarist (me) a drummer (josh) and a pianist (isabella)

Things are going well. We are of course busy as are all Salvation army officers at Christmas time. We are visiting Josh's brother & family for some downtime after Christmas. We have not seen our 6 month old nephew yet so we are excited about that.......as well as our 2 nieces.

As you can see Isabella is doing well. Walking like a pro and babbling all day long. I'm excited for Christmas because she'll actually be involved this year. Last year we opened her presents for her and this year she gets to open them herself....with some help.  

Shelton is just as big as ever and rarely chews things he isn't supposed to anymore. He makes me take him outside twice a day to play and still thinks he is a lap dog as you can see in the picture below.
